Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz at a young age. She played lead roles in television dramas as early as the age of 16. She was praised for her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the diva. Alexandra is well-known for her involvement in many important projects in both the US as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
